In the production of STRING RIBBON™ wafers, Sovello not only uses up to 50 percent less silicon than other producers of crystalline modules – the production of the silicon granulate that we use is produced with the fluidized bed method that clearly requires less energy than conventional solar silicon. This is how the concept of “Driven by Sustainability“ has become our core brand identity that encompasses the entire value-added chain – from the production of raw materials to shipping with low impact packaging.
