Above all, it comprises three key aspects: ecology, economy and social responsibility. In this way, we can lower costs in the long term and foster sustainability.Sovello’s integrated management system (IMS) ensures complete sustainability, even at the operational level. The key aspects here are quality, environment, health and safety.Moreover, the careful coordination of processes and responsibilities optimises cooperation between every area. Authentically Sustainable: Conserving Resources, but with High Performance. The solar modules we develop have the lowest energy consumption as well as the lowest CO2 emissions in their class – thereby protecting the quality of life for generations. The knowledge that we can achieve the same performance using less material and energy makes us the most sustainable company in the segment of crystalline photovoltaic modules. In the production of STRING RIBBON™ wafers, Sovello not only uses up to 50 percent less silicon than other producers of crystalline modules – the production of the silicon granulate that we use is produced with the fluidized bed method that clearly requires less energy than conventional solar silicon. This is how the concept of “Driven by Sustainability“ has become our core brand identity that encompasses the entire value-added chain – from the production of raw materials to shipping with low impact packaging.
